If your student has never attended MCCSD or left the district and is now returning, you must complete the new student registration.
| Grades Kindergarten – 4th | Students attend their neighborhood elementary school. Use our interactive boundary map to enter your home address and find out which school your child will attend.(Add link to interactive boundary map) |
| Grades 5 – 6 | Students attend Lincoln Intermediate. |
| Grades 7 – 8 | Students. attend John Adams Middle School. |
| Grades 9 – 12 | Students attend Mason City High School. |
| Grades 7-12 | Students may enroll at Mason City Virtual Academy for an online learning experience. An intake meeting is required before registration can be approved. |
| Grades 10-12 | Mason City Alternative School – Our Alternative School provides a supportive learning environment for students who qualify. Acceptance is required prior to enrollment. For more information, please call 641-421-4426 |
The following health screening documents must be completed and returned:
- Elementary Health Information
- Immunization Record or Medical Immunization Exemption Form or Religious Immunization Exemption Form
- Certificate of Dental Screening or Dental Screening Exemption
- Certificate of Vision Screening
- Medication Administration Request Form – if applicable
